Job summary

Welty Energy in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Project Coordinator for the Substation and Transmission Line Project Management team. You will assist with planning, organizing, and coordinating engineering, design, procurement, and construction activities for major capital projects in the electric utility sector.

This role offers remote flexibility though travel to client sites (20-25%) is required. Based in Eastern Pennsylvania (east of State College), you will work with stakeholders to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction mgmt, or relevant field.
• 0–5 years of project coordination experience in the utility sector (electric or gas).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate safety and health program implementation with project teams.
• Facilitate environmental program implementation in line with regulations.
• Promote client-centric culture to build trust and value for stakeholders.
• Assist with technical reviews of specs, drawings, contracts, and addenda for constructability.
• Schedule and conduct project planning and status meetings to maintain schedule and budget.
• Plan and schedule project activities and deliverables.
• Provide schedule updates on engineering, construction, and budget status to PMs.
• Oversee and coordinate construction package reviews and field visits.
• Create weekly status reports.
• Serve as single point of contact for construction submittals and document coordination.
• Identify and communicate outages to avoid schedule conflicts.
• Ensure permits are obtained and approvals secured for fieldwork.
