Job summary

Sugarshot, LLC is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support Project Management and Service Delivery in a defense-focused IT MSP, with emphasis on cybersecurity and CMMC projects. You will coordinate schedules, assign work, monitor progress, and maintain visibility across multiple client engagements.

The role requires experience supporting defense contractors and coordinating CMMC readiness activities, with strong documentation, ownership, and timely execution in security

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience coordinating projects, schedules, and resources.
• Experience supporting IT MSPs, technology services, or professional services.
• Two or more years coordinating cybersecurity-related projects for defense-focused clients.
• Familiarity with CMMC readiness, remediation, or assessment preparation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule work assignments across multiple active projects.
• Assign tickets and tasks to resources based on workload and priorities.
• Monitor progress and follow up on overdue or at-risk items.
• Maintain accurate project records and statuses for reporting.
• Assist with schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate resources and balance workloads across teams.
• Escalate scheduling conflicts, constraints, risks, and delivery concerns.
• Support CMMC readiness and remediation activities with tracking and milestones.
• Maintain documentation and evidence collection tasks with owners.
• Facilitate communication among project manager, engineers, compliance stakeholders, and clients.
• Coordinate with external assessment resources as directed.
• Assist with kickoff, status meetings, and ongoing admin.
• Maintain meeting notes and action items.
