Job summary

Stelic is seeking a Project Engineer to own schedule, cost, change, and risk controls on a biopharmaceutical manufacturing project. The role spans CQV, regulatory, automation, and ramp-up activities with a remote-first model and periodic travel to Minneapolis.

You will maintain the integrated project schedule in MS Project, manage the cost baseline, run risk management, and produce the monthly performance package for the Steering Committee. Reporting to the client PM with no direct reports.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project controls on capital projects.
• Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences experience.
• Owns a resource and cost-loaded integrated schedule in MS Project.
• Ability to produce Earned Value metrics (CPI, SPI, CV, SV, ETC, EAC, VAC).
• Builds cost baselines with WBS/CBS and tracks commitments, actuals, and cash flow.
• Leads change control process and routes approvals by thresholds.
• Maintains risk register and facilitates risk workshops.
• Proficient in Excel for cost tracking and EV.
• CQV/technical transfer/regulatory exposure preferred.
• Monte Carlo cost/schedule risk analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop IPS in MS Project with durations, logic, constraints, and cost loading.
• Maintain baseline schedule, baseline change control, and revisions.
• Track weekly progress across all workstreams and align with clients and suppliers.
• Perform critical path/float analysis and look-ahead schedules.
• Integrate contractor/vendor schedules into the master schedule.
• Develop and manage cost baseline by WBS/CBS including main equipment.
• Track commitments, actuals, accruals, and cash flow; manage POs.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and cash-flow forecast.
• Apply EV metrics and analyze variances with corrective actions.
• Manage contingency, logs, and change notices with approvals.
