Job summary

Pyrovio is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support Project Managers with cost and schedule analysis using earned value methodologies. This remote role requires residency in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, or New Jersey.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree (or related certification) with 3–4 years of project controls experience and strong Excel skills. Proficiency in Primavera P6/Oracle Primavera Cloud is essential for CPM scheduling and EV reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related certification AND 3 years of related work experience in project controls or related field
• OR 4 years of related work experience in project controls or related field
• Experience using Excel for data analysis, including vlookups, xlookups and pivot tables
• Ability to use Primavera P6 / Oracle Primavera Cloud to create and maintain CPM schedule and EVM reports

Responsibilities

• Schedule management: Develop, maintain, and update project schedules and analyze delays
• Cost management: Track costs, forecast, and analyze variances with corrective actions
• Earned Value management: Calculate EV metrics and identify performance issues
• Risk management: Identify project risks and mitigation strategies
• Scope management: Monitor project scope to align with objectives
• Resource management: Track and manage project resources
• Process optimization: Improve processes, metrics, and reports
• Facilitate communication within the project team and task forces
• Provide data-backed recommendations to influence outcomes
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Guide and train new Analysts in processes
