Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC seeks a Project Controls Specialist to support the Project Management Center of Excellence. The role emphasizes earned value management, cost/schedule baselines, and governance across large, complex nuclear projects.

Remote work within the contiguous United States is allowed with occasional travel to Houston, TX or Corvallis, OR up to 25% of the time. The successful candidate will develop and maintain project control tools, mentor junior staff, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S./B.A. in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• 5+ years in project planning/scheduling or project controls; nuclear industry experience is a plus.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish project controls governance for large, complex projects.
• Develop WBS and project control hierarchy in Primavera P6 with schedules, resources, and milestones.
• Support monthly accruals and maintain project cost and schedule baselines.
• Create and publish periodic status reports including earned value metrics and cost forecasts.
• Mentor junior staff and integrate external schedules into the Integrated Master Schedule.
