Job summary

Kentucky Association for Environmental Education seeks a proactive Program Specialist to support KAEE events, programs, and facilities from a remote location in Kentucky. This role reports to the Deputy Director and emphasizes coordination, database management, and conference exhibitions.

The ideal candidate has experience in program management, education, or natural resources, strong Google Workspace skills, and excellent communication. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in program management, education, or natural resources is preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and basic database tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Kentucky Green Schools program and district-level PD.
• Serve as state coordinator for Project WILD and present at events.
• Support launch and management of KAEE’s Green Career Pathways site.
• Coordinate KAEE events including conferences and workshops.
• Assist with awards program, guide orders, and reporting requirements.
• Support eeFacilitator Network, curricula, and KAEE action teams.
