Job summary

Browning the Green Space seeks a Program Manager to coordinate and deliver workforce development programs, focusing on career pathways, internships, and employer engagement. The role requires strong organization, stakeholder communication, and data-driven program delivery within a small, mission-driven nonprofit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in program coordination, program management, workforce development, education, career services, nonprofit programs, or a related field.
• Experience in workforce development, career pathways, internships, apprenticeships, employer engagement, education and training, talent pipelines, or economic mobility strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute assigned programs with a primary focus on Workforce Development.
• Translate program plans into timelines, tasks, calendars, communications, participant activities, partner deliverables, and other implementation needs.
• Manage day-to-day program logistics and ensure milestones, deadlines, and grant or contract deliverables remain on track.
• Coordinate workshops, trainings, cohort activities, and employer events, including materials, registration, communications, logistics, and follow‑up.
• Build positive relationships with participants, providing guidance, resources, and connections throughout their program experience.
