Job summary

Partners for Rural Impact (PRI) is seeking a Program Manager for Maryland to provide strategic and operational support to the Senior Director, Maryland. The role coordinates technical assistance to place-based partnerships serving high-poverty rural communities and manages budgets, calendars, and projects to ensure timely delivery.

Travel throughout Maryland is expected as part of field operations. The position emphasizes collaboration with national partners and thought leaders to advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, social sciences, management, communications, or related field.
• Five years of grant administration and program operations experience.
• Experience with grant writing, prospect research, fundraising, and funder reports.
• Budget administration and calendar management experience.
• Experience in nonprofit sector and serving rural communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational support to the Senior Director, including preparation for meetings, stakeholder engagements, and priority initiatives.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations across the assigned portfolio to ensure projects progress efficiently.
• Manage project timelines, milestones, and competing priorities across the partnership and geographic portfolio.
• Develop, maintain, and improve procedures, templates, and documentation for consistency and efficiency.
• Plan and execute meetings, convenings, and events including logistics and communications.
• Provide technical assistance and ongoing support to partners and stakeholders.
• Support planning and facilitation of community conversations and listening sessions.
• Supervise AmeriCorps members, Maryland Service Corps members, interns, and graduate fellows.
• Design presentations and materials communicating data and priorities.
• Assist with grant proposals and funder reports.
