Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Business Manager for the POTFF program to provide operational, financial, administrative, and stakeholder-management support for integrated human performance services across multiple performance domains. The role requires U.S.

citizenship and an active Secret clearance or eligibility. You will translate program priorities into disciplined execution, oversee budgets with Finance, and supervise staff, ensuring contract requirements are met while coordinating with government

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in program management, contract administration, or business operations in defense/government environments.
• Experience budgeting, financial oversight, resource planning, procurement, and cost control.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of federal contracting and compliance requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and planning activities.
• Oversee and manage large multi-project programs with cross-functional teams.
• Create and execute project work plans and adjust to changing needs.
• Identify resources and assign responsibilities; develop master resource plans.
• Baseline projects and capture metrics for historical data and forecasting.
• Review deliverables and enforce PMI standards.
• Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
• Minimize risk and communicate updates to management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate vendor activities and support system/process changes.
