Job summary

A strategic business unit seeks a Program Manager to support the Department of the Interior in enhancing the acquisition function. This role involves strategic oversight, data analysis, and collaboration across various offices to implement a unified acquisition strategy during a transitional period. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree, possess 5+ years of relevant experience, and PMP certification is highly desired. Telework is permitted, and the estimated salary is up to $160,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Program Oversight.
• Collaborate with the HCA and Branch Chiefs.
• Maintain visibility of the workload across offices.
• Support leadership in implementing acquisition strategy.
• Utilize new technologies to identify efficiencies.
• Assist with the implementation and management of platforms.
• Develop and maintain Power BI Dashboards.
• Engage with contracting offices to identify issues.
• Review acquisition data to identify trends and gaps.
• Support coordination of taskers and special projects.
• Identify risks related to procurement.
• Establish and track Key Performance Indicators.
