Job summary

Copper River Strategies is seeking an experienced Program Director to oversee contract operations and provide strategic leadership for a healthcare insurance program. The role focuses on staffing, deliverables, quality assurance, risk mitigation, reporting, and stakeholder communication to ensure contract performance and operational execution.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or master's in Public Policy, Health, Business or related field.
• Experience: 8+ years in healthcare insurance; PHI handling experience.
• Knowledge: strong Medicare Advantage (Part C) understanding and leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract operations and ensure successful execution of program requirements.
• Lead staffing, workforce planning, and personnel management activities.
• Manage development, review, and timely delivery of contract deliverables.
• Establish and maintain quality assurance processes and performance standards.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, compliance, and program risks.
• Develop and provide regular program status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
• Serve as primary point of contact for Government and organizational stakeholders.
• Ensure handling and protection of PHI in program operations.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to align with program objectives.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare insurance and Medicare requirements.
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for continuous improvement.
