Job summary

Commence, LLC is seeking a Program Director for Federal Health (CMS) to lead a large, multi-disciplinary team delivering on CMS contract performance with emphasis on timelines, reporting, and quality. The role requires deep expertise in Medicare FFS operations and federal contracting within a healthcare program delivery context.

You will serve as the primary CMS point of contact, manage subcontractors, and drive continuous improvement in compliance and efficiency across the program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of healthcare program management or federal contracting experience.
• Proven ability to lead large cross-functional teams (100+).
• Experience with CMS programs and reporting cadences.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for CMS, including COR/CO.
• Own all contractual delivery timelines and ensure on-time deliverables.
• Lead a 100+ multi-disciplinary team across clinical reviewers, coders, customer service, and IT.
• Monitor compliance with performance standards and resolve issues proactively.
• Oversee CMS reports, data deliverables, and program status updates.
