Active Minds, Inc. is seeking a Program Associate, Higher Education to support the Youth Leadership Team's college-focused programs, including the Mental Health Advocacy Institute (MHAI).

This role combines coordination, coaching, and facilitation to create positive participant experiences. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Higher Education, you will manage calendars, onboarding, LMS support, and partner engagement while helping recruit diverse students and connect them to leadership

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience engaging college students and collaborating with campus staff.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience creating documents, presentations, or educational materials.
• Experience entering, organizing, and maintaining data (spreadsheets, forms, surveys).
• Proficiency with Google products and project management platforms (e.g., ClickUp).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day implementation of the Mental Health Advocacy Institute, including calendars, onboarding, LMS support, session prep, and milestone tracking.
• Support MHAI recruitment and applications, including outreach to colleges and campus networks, focusing on diverse student groups.
• Coordinate MHAI alumni engagement and connections to leadership opportunities.
• Connect participants to funding opportunities and collaborate with senior staff.
• Support delivery of higher education resources, webinars, training, and campus partnerships.
• Make routine logistical and participant-support decisions within established guidelines.
