Job summary

Kutztown University is seeking a Professional Services Commodity Leader within Procurement Shared Services. The role directs sourcing and contracting for professional services, providing day-to-day team leadership and technical direction to buyers handling consulting, enrollment management, marketing, and training, ensuring compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Code and PASSHE policies.

The position is remote, but occasional travel to System headquarters in Harrisburg or other locations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, supply chain management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible procurement experience, preferably including experience sourcing professional or consulting services.
• Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring other procurement staff, formally or informally.
• Proficiency with e-procurement and/or contract lifecycle management systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, DocuSign CLM) or comparable platforms.

Responsibilities

• Direct sourcing and contracting activities for the Professional Services commodity.
• Provide day-to-day team leadership and technical direction to buyers and procurement specialists.
• Ensure all activity complies with the Commonwealth Procurement Code and PASSHE policy.
