The Professional Services Commodity Leader directs the sourcing andcontracting activities for the Professional Services commoditywithin Procurement Shared Services (PSS), a centralized functionserving the universities of the Pennsylvania State System of HigherEducation (PASSHE) and the Office of the Chancellor. This roleprovides day-to-day team leadership and technical direction tobuyers and procurement specialists handling consulting, advisory,enrollment management, marketing, training, and other professionalservices engagements, ensuring all activity complies with theCommonwealth Procurement Code (62 Pa.C.S.) and PASSHE policy. TheCommodity Leader serves as the primary subject-matter expert forprofessional services procurement, balancing hands-on sourcing workwith the coaching, workload management, and quality oversight of asmall team.
This position is remote but occasional travel to Systemheadquarters in Harrisburg or other locations for meetings may berequired. Pennsylvania residency is required.
