Responsibilities

• Negotiate with vendors to improve price, delivery terms, and purchase order terms.
• Evaluate and approve purchases within the assigned category.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance.
• Analyze price proposals and determine reasonable prices.
• Coordinate with Accounting on invoices and payments.
• Monitor contracts for terms and policy compliance.
• May supervise staff and manage electronic procurement systems.
