Job summary

Open Up Resources is seeking a Professional Learning Facilitator who will deliver proprietary PL for our K-5 reading curriculum in real schools and districts. You will stay in classrooms while guiding teachers, share authentic experiences, and collaborate with our PL team to plan and execute events with integrity and impact.

This is a remote, part-time role requiring strong communication, tech skills (Google Apps for Education, Zoom), and a collaborative spirit to support implementation

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have classroom experience implementing Bookworms K–5 Reading & Writing in a classroom or district.
• Experience and understanding of education environment.
• Superior attention to detail, dedication to excellence and proven track record of accountability.
• Demonstrated technology skills: ability to lead meetings via web conference tools (Zoom, Google Meets, MS Teams); working knowledge of email, Google platform, and MS Office 365; effectively utilize educational technologies to facilitate PL.
• Extraordinary and timely communication skills; written, verbal and interpersonal.
• Positive attitude focused on collaboration and team problem solving.
• Ability to foster a positive remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate quality Professional Learning events, coordinated and planned through Open Up Resources.
• Foster authentic dialogue between curriculum users by sharing experiences with PL and implementation challenges and successes within the school district.
• Prepare for and confidently deliver PL plans provided by Open Up Resources.
• Utilize technologies, including Google Apps for Education, to facilitate PL.
• Understand and effectively communicate curriculum knowledge depth.
• Use feedback from participants and district leaders to improve PL delivery.
• Communicate effectively with the team and districts participating in PL events.
• Stay up-to-date with ongoing trainings with the Professional Learning Manager.
• Maintain reliability, dedication to OUR Mission and integrity in curriculum implementation.
