Responsibilities

• Code complex professional encounters across settings with correct sequencing and documentation.
• Resolve coding edits and denials by identifying root causes.
• Apply payer policies and global service considerations to pro fee claims.
• Provide real-time guidance to peers on coding scenarios and best practices.
• Participate in internal quality reviews and drive education actions based on findings.
• Work queues in Epic professional coding and encoder tools; review documentation across settings.
• Identify documentation improvement opportunities and support corrective queries.
• Understand risk adjustment concepts and HCC validation where applicable.
