Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a ProFee Inpatient Coding Specialist III to code, review and release charges in a timely manner, ensuring billing compliance and accurate charge capture. 100% remote, full-time, Mon-Fri (40 hrs).

Requires 3 years of Pro-Fee Inpatient E/M coding experience for multispecialty coverage; NICU experience preferred; Epic experience preferred; strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS guidelines.
• Pro-Fee Inpatient coding across multiple specialties.

Responsibilities

• Code and verify CPT, ICD-10-CM and modifiers.
• Resolve edits and denials; monitor charge capture.
• Query providers as needed and educate staff.
• Ensure compliance with official coding guidelines.
• Collaborate with providers and revenue cycle leaders.
