Job summary

CorroHealth Inc. seeks a certified ProFee coder for a remote, full-time role focusing on hospital outpatient/facility denials and reimbursement optimization. The position requires independent work from home within the continental U.S. and adherence to coding standards and privacy rules.

Responsibilities include denial resolution, payer policy research, coding review, and revenue integrity support. Candidates must maintain credentials through AAPC or AHIMA and meet productivity targets.

Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P).
• Minimum 6 months of on-the-job coding experience.
• Proficient with CPT, ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS and HCPCS.
• Strong knowledge of ProFee and Hospital Outpatient (Facility) denials.

Responsibilities

• Work from home and be independent in coding tasks.
• Provide various components of coding services to support clients.
• Review Remit & CARC codes and resolve denials in EPIC.
• Identify denial trends and escalate to management as needed.
• Apply coding guidelines and ensure documentation supports code assignment.
