Job summary

CorroHealth, Inc. seeks a certified ProFee coder for a remote, full-time role focused on hospital outpatient/ facility denials, coding compliance, and reimbursement optimization. You will resolve denials, research payer policies, and review coding accuracy with emphasis on quality and productivity.

The position is remote within the continental US and requires USC/Greencard status and ongoing AHIMA/AAPC credential maintenance. Proficiency with EPIC and CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS is essential.

Qualifications

• Certified ProFee coder through AAPC or AHIMA (CCS/CCS-P).
• Minimum 6 months on-the-job coding experience in relevant area.
• Excellent attendance and reliability with a remote work setup.
• Proficiency with CPT, ICD-10-CM/PCS, and HCPCS references.

Responsibilities

• Resolve ProFee and hospital outpatient denials and optimize reimbursement.
• Research payer policies and applicable coding guidelines.
• Review denials and accurate code assignment in EPIC.
• Identify denial trends and escalate to management as needed.
• Apply ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT/HCPCS with high specificity.
• Comply with AHIMA/Company ethics and privacy standards.
