Children's Wisconsin seeks a Pro-Fee Coding Specialist III to code, review, and release charges for multiple specialties, ensuring accurate CPT/ICD-10 coding and charge capture. The role collaborates with providers and departments to maintain coding compliance and optimal revenue cycle performance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Pro-Fee E/M coding, prefers NICU experience, and can work independently in a remote, full-time setting.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience coding Pro-Fee E/M services for multi-specialty required.
• NICU experience preferred.
• Experience coding bedside procedures in the inpatient setting.
• Epic experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assign CPT, ICD-10 CM coding and modifiers based on documentation.
• Subject matter expert in one or more specialties for abstraction and coding.
• Resolve edits for various charges and ensure data elements are accurate.
• Monitor charge capture volumes and assist department leaders and staff.
• Query Providers as needed and address billing questions.
• Identify opportunities to reduce denials and improve processes.
• Develop and maintain protocols and policies related to coding areas.
