Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a motivated Profee Coder with 3+ years of Cardiology Complex Coding experience to join our Revenue Cycle team. This fully remote role requires active CPC certification and a strong background in Surgical Cardiology coding.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of recent Surgical Cardiology Profee EM coding, with specialty Cardiology experience preferred and current certification through AAPC or AHIMA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years recent experience in Surgical Cardiology Profee EM coding.
• Specialty Cardiology coding experience preferred.
• Must be currently certified through AAPC or Ahima; complex role requiring more than CPC-A; provide certification number in questionnaire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Profee coding for physician practice complex cases (preferably surgical cardiology).
• Maintain active CPC certification and up-to-date coding work history.
• Work remotely from allowed states (AK, AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NH, ND, NE, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WV, WY).
