Job summary

MedInsight, a Milliman subsidiary, is seeking a Product Strategist to drive the development and commercialization of data-driven healthcare products. The role bridges data products, tech partners, and product lines across payer, provider, and clinical teams to turn market needs into scalable solutions.

You will own market research, business cases, and go-to-market strategies while collaborating with cloud providers and partners to prototype and mature concepts into market-ready offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, computer science, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in product management, product strategy, strategy consulting, commercialization, or related discipline.
• Experience with data assets, APIs, interoperability, and FHIR preferred.
• Strong understanding of product strategy, commercialization, platforms, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Develop business cases, product definitions, and concept memos for opportunities, articulating market opportunity, target buyer, value proposition, differentiation, and path to commercialization.
• Collaborate with payer, provider, clinical, general managers, technical product management, and engineering to align customer value with data, models, and compliance.
• Support product roadmap development by documenting capabilities, dependencies and priorities.
• Assist with strategic partnerships and joint data strategies with technology partners to accelerate capabilities.
• Identify build vs. partner opportunities and conduct due diligence for external collaborations.
