Job summary

Milliman MedInsight is seeking a Product Strategist to lead the development and commercialization of data-driven healthcare products. You will bridge data products, tech partners, and product lines to incubate differentiated offerings across payer, provider, and clinical domains.

You will translate market needs into actionable strategies, collaborate with Azure, Databricks, AWS, and GCP teams, and guide POC design, partnerships, and go-to-market plans while ensuring governance and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, computer science, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in product management, product strategy, strategy consulting, commercialization, or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to conduct market discovery and define product monetization and GTM for data assets.
• Strong understanding of product strategy, platforms, lifecycles, and business planning.
• Experience with cloud providers (Azure, Databricks, AWS, GCP) and hybrid business/tech.
• Familiarity with AI/ML models and workflow automation.
• Experience using SQL, BI and analytics tools for analysis and strategy.
• Experience with external data partnerships and vendor integrations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Product Incubation & Commercialization: develop business cases, definitions, and memos.
• Cross-Functional Alignment with payers, providers, clinical and engineering teams.
• Product Roadmap Development: document capabilities, dependencies and priorities.
• Strategic Partnerships: prototype and co-innovate with technology partners.
• Build vs Partner Evaluation: identify opportunities for software partnerships.
• Discovery and Market Synthesis: conduct market and competitive research.
• Data Acquisition & Ecosystem Sourcing: onboard external data assets and partnerships.
• POC Design & Prototyping: drive technical and commercial proofs of concepts.
• Product Subject Matter Expertise: support training, pre-sales and commercialization.
• Responsible Innovation: manage dependencies and ensure governance and compliance.
