Sezzle is seeking a Product Operations Intern to join the Rewards team. You will engage with product, engineering, design, and data to ensure receipt scanning is accurate, fair, and hard to abuse, turning real-world observations into clear recommendations.

You will review submissions, document edge cases, and help shape prioritization and process improvements while leveraging AI tools to boost productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Genuine interest in consumer fintech, rewards and loyalty programs, or how products run at scale behind the scenes.
• Strong attention to detail: you notice when something's off and care about getting it right.
• Structured, logical mindset: you enjoy identifying patterns and turning them into rules or fixes.
• Effective written and verbal communication: you can write a bug report engineers can act on.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day quality of receipt scanning submissions and apply validation rules consistently.
• Provide actionable feedback for engineering with reproducible examples and improvement suggestions.
• Maintain and prioritize improvement backlog, track fixes, and flag regressions.
• Write review guidelines and escalation paths to keep decisions consistent as the program scales.
