Sezzle is seeking a Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Intern to join the People Operations team. You will gain hands-on exposure to multi-country payroll operations (US, Canada, Colombia), compensation administration, and benefits management with a clear pathway to full-time conversion based on performance.

You’ll support data entry, audits, and documentation, collaborate with senior leaders, and develop AI-driven skills in a fast-growing environment.

Formación

• Current university student or recent graduate in Finance.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel).
• English proficiency (written and verbal) — must collaborate with US-based teams daily.
• Spanish fluency (native or near-native).
• Comfort with fast-paced, high-growth environments and evolving priorities.
• Experience with Claude or similar large language model tools for AI-assisted work.

Responsabilidades

• Support end-to-end payroll operations across multiple countries (US, Canada, Colombia).
• Assist with benefits enrollment, terminations, and lifecycle changes in HRIS and benefits platforms.
• Perform data quality checks across payroll, benefits, and HRIS systems to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Support audits for payroll and benefits and prepare supporting documentation.
• Assist with compensation research and benchmarking for annual review cycles.
• Help manage vendor invoices, track reconciliations, and prepare payment requests for payroll and benefits providers.
• Maintain employee files and records in compliance with local regulations in each jurisdiction.
• Document and map payroll, compensation, and benefits processes to identify automation opportunities.
• Participate in AI and automation initiatives within People Operations.
