Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Product Manager to lead strategy, delivery, and oversight of a custom product within the OCC portfolio. You will align product goals with stakeholder needs and ensure technical execution supports mission-critical outcomes.

The role is fully remote within the United States, requiring experience in product management for custom software, Agile/Scrum leadership, and coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years of relevant experience or commensurate experience.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager overseeing custom software development projects.
• Ability to define product vision, roadmap, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum and leading cross-functional teams.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear technical requirements.
• Understand product lifecycle management for enterprise or mission-critical systems.
• Strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing vendor or contractor teams and evaluating delivery against requirements.
• Data-driven decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Clearance to obtain and maintain Suitability/Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Create integrated project plans for contracts and new products.
• Manage a multidisciplinary project team and budgets.
• Monitor progress, quality, and client satisfaction; report status.
• Develop mechanisms to track progress and intervene as needed.
• Define requirements and plan lifecycle deployment.
• Schedule tasks and coordinate with team members.
• Oversee vendor tasks and review deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and project reporting.
