Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Product Configuration Engineer to join our renewable energy team. You will translate customer hardware requirements into accurate SKUs and BOMs and drive PLM implementation, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and sales across a rapidly growing sector.

Qualifications

5–7 years of experience in product configuration, BOM management, or PLM in a hardware/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain SKUs, assembly structures, and product configurations in NetSuite for proposals, manufacturing, spare parts, and ongoing service.
Translate customer specifications into equipment selections and configuration packages using our existing product portfolio.
Develop and maintain BOM information with engineering and manufacturing, ensuring alignment between quoted products and production needs.
Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
Standardize part numbering, product attributes, and configuration documentation.
Partner with customer, sales, engineering, manufacturing, and project management to resolve technical requirements and support manufacturing handoff.
