Job summary

Zekai is seeking a Procurement & Vendor Management Expert for a 100% remote contractor role. You will design multi-step procurement tasks with objective grading criteria, based on real-world supplier assessment, bids, and risk analyses. Strong domain knowledge matters; AI experience is a plus but not required.

You will create reference materials, ensure tasks are defensible to reviewers, and deliver high-quality benchmark content on schedule. Excellent English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier assessment, or vendor management.
• Experience creating or applying structured evaluation standards: supplier scorecards, weighted bid criteria, vendor risk frameworks, or category strategies.
• Comfortable working across contracts, spreadsheets, and reports.
• Strong English, written and spoken (B2 minimum, C1 preferred).
• CIPS, CPSM or equivalent certification is a plus, but not required.
• AI or LLM evaluation experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-step procurement and vendor management tasks with realistic reference files and clear instructions.
• Define objective grading criteria so two qualified reviewers would reach the same verdict.
• Build tasks that require judgment based on reading materials.
• Create or source supporting materials: RFP responses, pricing schedules, contracts, SLAs, risk assessments.
• Flag tasks that are ambiguous or ungradable.
• Deliver approved tasks on schedule and at the required quality.
