Job summary

LayerCake, a Blue Alliance company, is seeking a Procurement Specialist III to lead end-to-end sourcing, purchase order management, and contract administration while ensuring value, quality, and compliance. Hybrid work in Phoenix.

This role supports end-to-end procurement lifecycle, works with Operations and AP, and requires strong ERP/Excel skills and 3+ years in procurement. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or related operations experience.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret spend data and provide insights.
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Supplier Management: conduct market research, supplier analysis, quotes; support performance tracking.
• Purchase Order Management: create, process, track POs in ERP; ensure accuracy and budgets; expedite deliveries.
• Contract Administration: assist in review, negotiation, and administration of supplier contracts; escalate risks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: align procurement with Operations and stakeholders; communicate policies and best practices.
