Job summary

The University of Colorado System Administration is seeking a Procurement Agent to procure goods and services across CU campuses, applying procurement rules, negotiating with suppliers, and guiding departments through the purchase process.

Qualified applicants have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, at least one year of professional procurement experience, strong communication and organizational skills. CPSM/CPPB and AI experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited institution or equivalent professional experience
• One year of professional experience procuring goods and services
• Two years of professional procurement experience (preferred)
• CPSM or CPPB certification (preferred)
• Experience using AI-driven solutions in support of customers (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Procures goods and services using professional judgment and CU rules.
• Interprets and analyzes data to select the best value for the university.
• Guides departments through the procurement process and documents the process.
• Negotiates with suppliers to obtain best value and terms.
• Ensures compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
