Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Procurement AI & Automation Analyst to join its Procurement Excellence team in a remote US-based role. You will develop AI-powered applications, agents, and automated workflows to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and deliver business value across direct and indirect procurement and logistics.

You’ll work with Claude Code or similar AI tools, GitHub, Snowflake, and data platforms; collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into deployable solutions, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 2–3+ years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or analytics.
• 1+ year hands-on experience using Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar AI tools.
• Experience taking AI-assisted solutions from concept to working output.

Responsibilities

• Identify AI opportunities with strategic sourcing, procurement operations, and supply chain teams.
• Prototype and deploy AI agents and automation using approved tools and platforms.
• Design human-in-the-loop checks, governance, and risk controls for AI solutions.
• Measure adoption, impact and value; communicate results to leadership.
