Job summary

Duke Energy seeks an entry-level Supply Chain Accounts Payable / Procure-to-Pay Analyst I to support day-to-day AP/P2P operations from a virtual location within NC/SC or nearby. You will assist with vendor master records, 1099 reporting, and payment processing, across SAP Ariba, Maximo, PeopleSoft, and CAPS.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or 1 year of experience; strong communication and analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 1 year of related work experience; in lieu of degree, 5 years of related work experience and high school diploma accepted.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vendor master records and support 1099 reporting processes.
• Respond to supplier and internal customer inquiries and resolve issues.
• Validate and maintain payment files and credit card data; support expense management.
• Provide financial, accounting, and business management analytical support to defined customer group.
• Communicate root-cause analyses and resolutions to stakeholders.
