Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in archival studies or related field.
• 2–3 years of archival processing or records management experience.
• Knowledge of archival arrangement, description, and preservation practices.
• Experience with inventories, metadata, finding aids, or digital records.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize archival materials and institutional records.
• Arrange and describe collections following archival standards.
• Create and maintain finding aids, inventories, and catalog records.
• Assess preservation needs and ensure proper storage of materials.
• Maintain databases, metadata, and processing documentation.
• Support digitization by preparing materials and verifying digital records.
• Collaborate with library staff and records managers.
• Retrieve materials for approved research requests.
• Adhere to access policies and maintain confidentiality.
• Monitor schedules and meet project deadlines.
• Suggest improvements to workflows and cataloging practices.
