Job summary

Eis Group USA is seeking a Processing Archivist on a full-time contract basis to manage archival collections, preserve historical records, and improve access to materials. The role requires strong research, organizational, and information management skills with attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s in archival studies or related field and 2–3 years of experience, with knowledge of standards, finding aids, and preservation practices.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in archival processing, library collections, or records management.
• Knowledge of archival arrangement, description, cataloging, and preservation practices.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize archival materials, documents, and records.
• Describe collections and create finding aids and inventories.
• Maintain databases, metadata, and processing documentation.
• Support digitization projects and verify digital records.
• Collaborate with library staff, researchers, and records managers.
• Meet processing deadlines and improve archival workflows.
