Job summary

PhoenixTeam is seeking a Business Process Reengineering Analyst to support discovery and redesign for the Department of the Interior modernization program. You will work with the senior transformation lead and analysts to map current workflows, identify bottlenecks, and design clearer future-state processes before automation.

This role suits a results-driven analyst comfortable across domains and converting detail into actionable docs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in process analysis or related fields.
Hands-on experience with Python to prepare and analyze data and SQL to query data.
Experience producing current-state and future-state process documentation and identifying root causes, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

Document steps, handoffs, controls, bottlenecks, and root causes across offices.
Analyze process data with Python and SQL to measure cycle time and errors.
Develop future-state workflows that simplify steps and clarify roles and responsibilities.
Create SOPs, workflow diagrams, RACI matrices, templates, and job aids.
Support pilot testing and document findings to refine processes.
Ensure documentation aligns with policies, controls, accessibility needs, and federal requirements.
