Westwin Elements Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to drive the design, optimization, and safe operation of America’s first nickel refinery.

This role emphasizes process design, operational efficiency, and continual improvement across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of process engineering experience in refining or metals production, with familiarity in Aspen Plus or HYSYS and strong analytical skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of process engineering experience in refining, metals, mining, or chemical processing.
• Familiarity with process modeling software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or similar).

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and optimize refining processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Analyze process data and troubleshoot operational issues to enhance plant performance.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement process improvements.
• Support commissioning and startup of process equipment and systems.
• Develop and maintain PFDs, P&IDs, and mass/energy balances.
• Develop process simulations and technical evaluations for plant operations.
