Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Process Control Engineer to join a global engineering team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing APC strategies for chemical processes, entirely from a remote location.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering.
7+ years of experience in process control for chemical industries.
Proficiency with process simulation and control system design software.
Strong knowledge of control theory, instrumentation, and automation platforms.
Experience with APC techniques such as Model Predictive Control (MPC).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and remote communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement APC strategies for chemical plants.
Develop and tune control loops, including PID and MPC.
Analyze process data to identify opportunities for optimization.
Collaborate remotely with site operations and engineering teams to deploy solutions.
Troubleshoot control system issues and provide remote support.
Stay current with advancements in process control technology.
