What You'll Do

• Serve as the corporate expert for DCS, PLC, SIS, and advanced process control systems.
• Develop, maintain, and roll out corporate automation standards and best practices.
• Lead control system upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
• Support site engineers with troubleshooting, tuning, network issues, and system performance.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, IT, and Engineering across multiple locations.
• Oversee system integrators, review design packages, and validate control logic.
• Contribute to capital projectsensuring automation strategy is aligned with safety, reliability, and business needs.
• Drive cybersecurity compliance and automation lifecycle management.
• Mentor and train site controls/automation personnel.

What You Bring

• Degree in Chemical, Electrical, Controls, or related engineering field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with process controls in chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, or similar industries.
• Strong proficiency with DCS/PLC platforms and control system troubleshooting.
• Ability to support multiple sites remotely and travel as needed (~20%).
• Experience with SIS, APC, or cybersecurity practices is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
