The Probate Pro is seeking a Probate Litigation Attorney to join our growing team. This role involves managing contested probate matters and related civil litigation with a focus on strategic advocacy.

Ideal candidates hold an active Michigan Bar license, 2–4+ years of litigation experience, and a proven ability to manage cases and deadlines independently. Remote-friendly with a collaborative, file-to-court workflow.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Bar license and in good standing.
• 2–4+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience managing litigation matters and appearing in court.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage cases and deadlines independently.
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.
• Experience in probate, trusts, estates, guardianship, fiduciary disputes, real estate litigation, depositions, mediation, or trial work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of probate and related litigation matters.
• Develop case strategy and collaborate on complex legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and settlement documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive arguments.
• Represent clients at hearings, conferences, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Provide practical legal guidance and manage client expectations.
• Manage deadlines and collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
