Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Senior Coder II for professional fee coding across inpatient and outpatient services. The role reviews documentation to assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes, resolves edits, and addresses denials with the Revenue Management team. Remote/out-of-state candidates in listed states are welcome.

Three+ years of professional fee coding experience required. CPC or CCS-P certification preferred; Epic EHR experience helps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional fee coding experience.
• Experience reviewing documentation to assign CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 codes.
• Experience with denials review and appeals is desirable.
• Epic EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation to assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes.
• Resolve edits and follow up on charge review and claims edits.
• Review denials for potential corrected claims or appeals.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management and clinic staff to resolve coding issues.
