Somewhere, a New York City private equity firm, is hiring a full-time Financial Analyst to support its investment team with deal screening, financial analysis and pipeline management. You will review CIMs, write concise summaries, and keep deal and contact data accurate in Salesforce.

The role requires polished written and spoken English and overlap with US Eastern hours. Based remotely from Latin America or Africa, with reliable internet and a quiet home workspace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience as a financial analyst in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or similar.
• Strong Excel skills, including financial statement analysis and basic modeling.
• Clear, structured business writing; ability to turn a CIM into a concise summary.
• Excellent spoken English for US-based teams and partners.
• CRM data entry and data-quality discipline.
• Based in Latin America or South Africa with reliable internet and quiet workspace.
• Available full-time with hours overlapping US Eastern time.

Responsibilities

• CIM write-ups: read CIMs and teasers and write concise summaries covering business, financials, growth drivers, risks and fit with buyout criteria.
• Salesforce data entry: log deals, contacts, intermediaries and deal stages; keep records current as opportunities move.
• Financial analysis: spread historical financials, build/update basic models, run comps and transactional analyses.
• Deal screening support: track inbound deals, flag opportunities matching criteria, prepare materials for internal review.
• Research: pull industry, market and company data for memos and diligence.
• Reporting: prepare pipeline summaries and ad hoc analysis for the deal team and portfolio reporting.
• Communication: coordinate with internal team and external partners such as bankers and brokers.
