ATPCO, the world’s primary source for air fare content, is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the pricing platform and architect a next-generation engine that powers airline retailing globally.

You will tackle distributed systems, performance engineering, and large-scale data processing to support 200M+ fares across 160+ countries, pushing for low latency and high reliability in a remote-friendly culture.

Qualifications

• Strong systems programming experience with C and Rust.
• Experience with distributed systems in production environments.
• Linux performance and resource management expertise.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a distributed, async-friendly team.

Responsibilities

• Extend and evolve the pricing engine for new use cases.
• Shape the platform architecture and drive key technical decisions.
• Solve complex challenges in distributed systems, scalability, and reliability.
• Work across the stack from low-level system interactions to APIs and algorithms.
• Optimize performance and latency for 200M+ fares across 160+ countries.
