ATPCO is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to architect and scale a global pricing engine that handles 200M+ fares across 160+ countries. You will lead from the front in distributed systems, performance engineering, and large-scale data processing, shaping the future of airline pricing.

You’ll drive technical direction, own complex design decisions, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions in a remote-first, flexible environment.

Qualifications

• Expert-level C and Rust programming
• Strong Linux system and performance tuning
• Experience building fault-tolerant distributed systems in production
• Ability to reason about complex algorithms and data structures
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a distributed team

Responsibilities

• Extend and evolve the high-performance pricing engine
• Shape platform architecture and drive technical decisions
