Job summary
Lyric is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to shape the technical direction and drive the engineering strategy for our flagship initiatives. The role leads the design and development of scalable, high-performance software systems, collaborating with product, design, and other engineers to deliver innovative solutions.
You will mentor engineers, champion best practices, and ensure full-stack implementations meet business objectives, staying current with emerging technologies and industry
Qualifications
- 10+ years in software engineering leading complex systems.
- Experience with JS, Python, Java, or C#; .NET preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's in CS/SE; advanced certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and development of software solutions including backend and integrations.
- Define technical requirements with product, design, and engineering teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
- Drive architecture decisions and maintain coding standards.
- Develop and maintain frameworks, libraries, reusable components.
- Address performance, scalability, and challenges with cross-functional teams.
- Mentor engineers on design, coding practices, and system architecture.
- Stay current with emerging tech and drive tool adoption.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and stability.
