Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Principal Research Scientist ONC - Clinical Development Scientist to lead bioanalytical method development and validation for sponsor-dedicated/remote US programs. You will coordinate activities across trial design, protocol development, CRFs, and regulatory submissions.

The role requires advanced degrees with 3+ to 6+ years of experience in clinical research or pharmacology, strong data analysis, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and analytical software.

Qualifications

• PharmD or PhD with 3+ years in clinical research or clinical pharmacology in biopharma, healthcare, consulting, academia, or related field.
• MS with 6+ years’ relevant scientific and/or drug development experience.
• BS or RN with 8+ years’ relevant scientific and/or drug development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops understanding of clinical trial design to support study concepts and clinical protocols.
• Participates in protocol review meetings, contributing to scientific rationale and study design discussions.
• Assists in preparation of study protocols, amendments, investigator meeting materials, and other documentation under guidance.
• Contributes to CRF, Data Management Plans, and Statistical Analysis Plans with supervision.
• Supports responses to investigator inquiries on scientific, clinical, and procedural aspects of studies.
• Assists in preparation and review of data outputs, summary reports, manuscripts, and scientific presentations.
• Provides support in development and review of regulatory submission documents.
• Coordinates project teams and provides direction on assigned activities when required.
• May perform clinical monitoring responsibilities for individual studies or components of larger programs.
• Demonstrates ability to learn new therapeutic areas and synthesize literature to support study development.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, GCP guidelines, and SOPs.
