Ladders is seeking a Principal Product Manager, Financial Data to lead the strategy and execution of a new data product for enterprise clients. This remote-US role collaborates with domain experts, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to turn complex customer needs into scalable data solutions.

You will mentor other product managers, manage priorities and milestones, and ensure deliverables meet market demands.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of product management experience in fintech, investment research, or financial services
• Proven track record managing complex products with multiple components
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Experience with Notion and Linear
• Data fluent with SQL and LLMs for querying complex datasets
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business; MBA or CFA designation preferred

Responsibilities

• Create a framework for a zero-to-one product lifecycle from data analysis to launch
• Collaborate with domain experts to understand user pain points and validate product hypotheses
• Translate complex user workflows into robust data architectures
• Manage resourcing, reporting, and milestone tracking across major projects
• Mentor product managers to foster professional growth and build high-performing teams
• Articulate client problems and collaborate with engineers to validate solutions
• Analyze industry trends and gather actionable customer feedback
