Epicor is seeking a Principal Presales Solution Engineer for Retail to lead technical presales, partner with Sales, and win strategic opportunities. You will serve as senior technical advisor across the customer journey, engaging with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, and Enterprise Architects to establish technical credibility and demonstrate how Epicor's portfolio enables digital transformation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
12+ years in enterprise software presales, solution engineering, or similar roles.
Experience supporting complex mid-market and enterprise software sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

Serve as the lead technical advisor on strategic, high-value sales opportunities.
Build executive-level credibility with CIOs, CTOs, and IT leaders across Retail and related portfolios.
Conduct comprehensive technical discovery sessions to understand objectives and integration needs.
Design future-state architectures mapping Epicor products into customer environments.
Develop and present architecture diagrams, integration strategies, and deployment approaches.
Lead technical objection handling with architectural, security, and scalability concerns.
Deliver tailored product demonstrations focused on customer use cases and outcomes.
Develop PoCs and prototypes to accelerate purchasing decisions.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Success.
