You'll lead cross-functional efforts to reduce systemic infrastructure risk and build security controls that scale across teams.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in security and infrastructure engineering, with a focus on cloud security and extensive knowledge of Kubernetes and automation tools.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in security engineering, infrastructure engineering, or software engineering.
• 4+ years focused on infrastructure, cloud, or production security.
• Experience securing cloud-native infrastructure in AWS or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Upstart’s infrastructure security strategy.
• Lead security architecture reviews for critical infrastructure.
• Identify and reduce systemic security risks across teams.
